Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks has done a bit of digging and is saying that a cowboy-filled limited time mode is coming to Fortnite, as reported by PCGamesN.
The data miners state that this LTM limits players to dynamite, hunting rifles, and shotguns; all automatic weapons, traps and rocket launchers are gonezo. As well as that, shields will be outlawed (like cowboys, y'see?), and slurp juice will be the only way to replenish your health.

– Check supply drops for slurp juice. Regular shields pots have been removed from this mode.

I suppose the wild west is popular at the moment as Red Dead Redemption 2 is still very fresh on everyone's minds, and likely will be until the end of the year. Hopefully those that were incorrectly banned will be able to jump on in time.
