Since then, this features has received plenty of updates with most of the changes centering around new character ranks. But even though it’s been part of the game for a long time now, a large number of players are still puzzled as to what it exactly is. Luckily, we’re here to provide all the information that you need regarding this in-game feature.

What is Star Level in Clash Royale?

Star Levels are card ranks that can be raised in order to unlock new cosmetics for a specific character. Star Points, which are used to raise Star Levels, can typically be earned once players reach King Level 6. You will then be able to acquire these points by upgrading and donating cards. You can also gather them by obtaining Max Level cards through Chests, Quests, etc.

You can then spend the Star Points you’ve collected on cards that have reached Level 7, 10, and 13 respectively. You’ll need to spend 5,000 Star Points to reach the first Star Level and another 10,000 for the next one. Finally, the last Star Level requires you to use up 20,000 Star Points which means you’ll need to collect a total of 35,000 to reach the max Star Level for a card.

It’s important to note, though, that not all cards will have three Star Levels. Some will only have a max of two ranks, however, Supercell will most likely introduce more Star Levels to other cards in future updates.
