505 Games has today announced it has secured European publishing rights for Namco Bandai’s cheerleading game We Cheer.

We Cheer brings the cheerleading experience to the Wii, tasking players to jump, shout and shake it all about just like a real cheerleader. Using two Wii Remotes as virtual pom-poms, players must follow on-screen commands to perform spins, kicks and twists as part of professionally choreographed routines.

Routines will be set to some of the most popular music from artists past and present, including teen sensation Hilary Duff, 70’s disco from KC & The Sunshine Band and modern rock from Paramore.

The game also features a Workout Mode designed to help players burn calories by dancing.

We Cheer is scheduled for release on Wii in Q1 2009.
