Watch Dogs releases November 22, confirmed as a PS4 launch title

Watch Dogs will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U on November 22, and be available at the launch of PlayStation 4, Ubisoft has announced.

The game will also release on “other next generation consoles”, Ubisoft confirmed, including – of course – Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox.

In addition to announcing a release date, Ubisoft released a brand new trailer (available above) and detailed four special editions due to launch alongside the game this November, containing bonus physical items and in-game DLC tallying up to an additional 60 minutes worth of gameplay.

Each is expected to be available on all formats, including PlayStation 4, but prices are yet to be announced.

Details on Watch Dogs’ special editions and release date leaked over the weekend, after European retailers jumped the gun on Ubisoft’s announcement.

The date pins Ubisoft’s cyber-thriller for release three weeks after Ubisoft’s other Christmas title, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, goes on sale on November 1.
