UPDATE: Ubisoft has confirmed that the exclusive content will also be available in the PS4 version.

ORIGINAL STORY: The PlayStation 3 version of Watch Dogs will include 60 minutes worth of exclusive content unavailable on other platforms.

The bonus content was revealed via the game’s updated box art, which was released alongside details of Watch Dogs’ four special editions earlier today.

It’s unknown what the exclusive content will consist of, however.

Ubisoft has regularly offered exclusive content with the PS3 versions of its multi-format games.

The PS3 versions of last year’s Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 both shipped with exclusive content, with Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag set to do the same this November.

It isn’t yet known, however, whether Watch Dogs or Assassin’s Creed 4’s bonus content will also be included with the PS4 versions. Both titles are expected to launch alongside Sony’s latest console later this year.

Watch Dogs releases on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC on November 22, 2013, and will be available at the launch of PlayStation 4. The game is also in development for “other next generation consoles”.
