Watch Dogs 2 has failed to knock Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare off the top of the UK charts, landing at No.2 in this week’s Top 40.
That’s despite Infinite Warfare sales falling by 46% week-on-week, and the original Watch Dogs setting new records for a new IP launch back in 2014. Chart-Track suggests sales of the top two were fairly well matched, however, stating that Infinity Ward’s shooter only “narrowly” fended off Watch Dogs 2.
Ubisoft has yet to announce official sales figures.
Elsewhere in the charts, FIFA 17 falls one place to No.3, Battlefield 1 moves to No.4 and WWE 2K17 rises 11 places to No.5 thanks to a heavily discounted pre-Black Friday sale. Dishonored 2, meanwhile, falls from No.4 to No.7 in its second week, while Titanfall 2 drops from No.8 to No.15 – three places below last year’s Star Wars Battlefront. Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection debuts at No.10.
