If you’re buying Watch Dogs 2 on PS4 tomorrow, take a quick look at the cellophane before unsealing it. Notice anything different?
Yep, that’s a PS3 tear strip.
Early pictures (below) of the UK version’s retail packaging turned up on Twitter over the weekend, appearing to show a PS3 seal around the PS4 version. Unlike the original game Watch Dogs 2 isn’t releasing on PS3, so quite how this has happened is anybody’s guess.

I also don’t know if this is the case with all UK copies of the PS4 version, or if certain copies have slipped into the PS3 packaging net. But yeah, something a little unusual for your Monday afternoon.
Watch Dogs 2
releases on PS4 and Xbox One tomorrow, with a PC version due to follow on November 29. Alice really liked it, particularly its “fun, silly, stupid [and] loud” lead characters.
