A trial version of Watch Dogs 2 has been released on PS4 and will be coming to Xbox One on January 24, Ubisoft has announced.

The trial offers three hours access to the complete Watch Dogs 2 experience, including the seamless online multiplayer.

All progress made in the trial will carry over to the full game if you later make the purchase. Furthermore, users of the trial are able to purchase premium content, though this will only be usable during the three hour trial or if the full game is purchased.

Achievements and Trophies are not available in either version of the trial, though Xbox One players will see any achievements they would have earned unlocked once the full game is purchased.

The trial is around 25GB, but you will be able to begin the first mission once 12GB has been downloaded.
