Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut, an ‘overhauled’ version of last year’s post-apocalyptic PC RPG, is coming to PS4 and Xbox One on October 16, Deep Silver has announced.
The console game features improved textures and lighting over the original release, higher quality character models, additional voice-overs and brand new environments.
Combat has been tweaked, too, with developer inXile improving the balancing and introducing new ‘Precision Strike’ and ‘Perk & Traits’ systems.
The game is set to cost £34.99 in the UK, but if you’re heading out to Cologne next week you’ll be able to give it a go at Deep Silver’s Gamescom booth.
The original PC release left Jim slightly underwhelmed last year, who criticised it for its “poorly designed” role-playing system and “unfair” challenge.
But what do you think? Are you looking forward to the console release? Let us know in the comments below.
