Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate will launch September 5 for PS4, PS3, PS Vita and Xbox One, Tecmo Koei has announced.
The new Ultimate edition builds on the core Warriors Orochi 3 game, introducing a new campaign which picks up from the good ending of the original release.
The playable character roster has also been bumped up to 145 thanks to a number of familiar faces from other Tecmo Koei titles such as Xu Shu from Dynasty Warriors, Kasumi from Dead or Alive and Atelier from Samurai Warriors.
Furthermore, the Halloween costume set for Zhao Yun from Dynasty Warriors, Mitsunari Ishida from Samurai Warriors, and Kaguya is available exclusively from GAME. Toukiden costumes for Kaguya, Nuwa and Taigong Wang will be offered through independent retailers.
PlayStation versions will support Cross-Play and Cross-Save, meaning Co-op play, data sharing and saving is now possible between PS3, PS4 and Vita. This includes importing save date from the original Orochi 3 on PS3.
