Warped Kart Racers, coming to Apple Arcade on May 20th, stars a number of Fox animated characters.

Peter Griffin, Hank Hill, Stan from American Dad, Stewie, and several more—totalling twenty characters—will show up to race.

Check out the trailer below:

The description reads,

“Get warped into the ultimate kart racing game – by yourself, or multiplayer – featuring the stars of 20th Television’s hit animated shows: American Dad!, Family Guy, King of the Hill and Solar Opposites! Experience iconic locations and even some surprise ones in your quest for karting glory!”

Presumably, those “surprise ones” have to be in reference to The Simpsons, don’t they? The description also notes that Warped Kart Racers will feature both a solo campaign and multiplayer modes.

Warped Kart Racers is the second such effort recently in gathering a cluster of IP, Super Smash Bros.-style. Late last year, we also saw the reveal of MultiVersus, from Warner Bros. Games. That game features the likes of “Batman, Shaggy from Scooby Doo, Bugs Bunny, Harley Quinn, Finn the Human & Jake the Dog from Adventure Time and even Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.”

This is clearly a smaller affair, arriving exclusively to Apple devices, but, even so, it looks well produced. The true test will be how well it controls—seen as it presumably uses the tilt sensor, which ain’t great.
