Time Warner’s Filmed Entertainment division saw revenues climb to $12.6 billion in 2011, with the firm’s strong performance from a number of games partly to thank.

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment shipped six million copies of Batman: Arkham City, with other highlights being Mortal Kombat and the LEGO titles – LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 included.

Warner attributed much of its nine per cent revenue growth to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two (cinemas and on DVD) and the DVD release of Part One.
