The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr have been delayed to 'later this summer,' Neocore and BigBen have announced.

Sadly that's about all we know, so there's no telling exactly when it will show up. It's pretty rough timing though; the console version was originally meant to be out next week. June 5, to be exact.

We're a glass half-full sort, so here's the good news: The PC version remains on track.

According to the press blurb, developer Neocore needs a little more time to polish Martyr's local multiplayer and procedurally generated maps for the console release.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr sees you hopping into the role of the titular Inquisitors, with multiple classes available as you wage war against the Chaos heretics that are rampaging across the Caligari sector.

Hopefully we'll get a solid release date for the PS4 and Xbox One editions of the game soon enough.
