THQ’s long-running relationship with Disney Pixar has already seen more than 35 million games shipped worldwide and this figure is sure to increase with the summer release of WALL.E across all leading formats.
The animated motion picture stars WALL.E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class), a robot who for hundreds of years has done the one thing he was designed for, but when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE he discovers a new purpose in life.
In development at THQ’s Heavy Iron Studios, the WALL.E video game will see players taking control of WALL.E and EVE in an adventure based on the upcoming animated film. Relive the movie’s most thrilling moments set across ten worlds packed with familiar characters and key locations from the movie.
We’re also promised head-to-head multiplayer challenges and a host of new storylines and environments not seen in the movie.
You can already pencil this in as a hit and will be arriving this summer for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, DS, PC and Mac.
