Eidos Interactive has announced the June 2008 release of Wacky Races: Crash & Dash, a new action-based driving game inspired by the legendary Hanna-Barbera cartoon.

We’re promised fun-filled environments, crazy cars and hilarious characters, including all the favourites from the TV series, such as Turbo Terrific driven by Peter Perfect, the Ant Hill Mob in their Bullet Proof Bomb, Penelope Pitstop, and the Mean Machine driven by Dick Dastardly and his sidekick, Muttley.

Each action-packed cross-country course has been based on locations from the TV show and come complete with obstacles and Wacky Widgets which provide Wacky Powers to racers. Racers also have unique super-special Way Out Wacky powers which can be used to gain the upper hand.
