Metal Gear Solid voice actor David Hayter – who is known for his work as Solid Snake and and Big Boss – will not reprise his role in the newly announced Metal Gear Solid.
“Well look, At least I had a good run,” Hayter Tweeted following last night’s Metal Gear Solid 5 announcement.
When asked on Twitter if he had been asked to work on MGS5, Hayter replied, “nope” – although this appears to have been deleted.
Hours later Hayter added: “Thank you all, I can’t tell you what your support has meant to me all day. Love you back, my awesome Tweeps. DH”
In the Metal Gear Solid 5 demo the bandaged man appears to be voiced by Kiefer Sutherland, although this isn’t confirmed.
