Dead Nation, the PSN co-op zombie shooter, will receive an update introducing voice chat to the game, developer Housemarque has said.
“We here at Housemarque sincerely apologise that Voice Chat is not available in Dead Nation’s online co-op mode,” said the developer on the EU PlayStation Blog.
“Following player demand for this feature, the team is currently working intensely to introduce it as quickly as possible.”
No ETA for the Voice Chat patch has been given, but the developer has asked fans to give feedback on the game so further improvements can be made. We thought Dead Nation was a solid overhead shooter, awarding it 7/10.
With Dead Nation being a co-op shooter the current lack of voice chat is disappointing. Hopefully the patch won’t take too long to arrive or else a large portion of the user base would have already moved on to something new.
