Virtua Fighter 5 is one of the more high profile releases coming to the PlayStation 3 in the early part of 2007, and it’s coming sooner than expected.
SEGA has announced that the game will ship in North America on February 20, with the European release arriving on day one with the PlayStation 3 – currently thought to be in March.
“Virtua Fighter 5 will be the first martial arts style fighting game available on the PlayStation 3 system with brand new offensive moves, customizable characters, stunning graphics, and highly detailed 3D fighting environments,” said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America.
If you can’t wait until February 20 for the North American release then there’s the option of importing the Japanese release, which should be available from February 8, 2007.
