Dontnod Entertainment has announced that the new Vampyr update will roll out next week on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
Due out on September 26, the update will add a number of new features to the gothic-scented horror title, including a new Hard and Story mode. The former makes combat a lot tougher, plus protagonist Jonathan Reid won't receive as much EXP for killing enemies, while the latter places greater emphasis on the storyline.
In addition, Dontnod revealed that the new update will also apply various optimisation fixes, while PC gamers will be able to take advantage of Nvidia Ansel for snapping eyeball-popping in-game screenshots.
Vampyr was released on PS4, PC, and Xbox One back in June, and while not perfect, VideoGamer thought it was still worth a punt.
Fox21 recently confirmed that it has snapped up the rights to Vampyr for a live-action TV show. Let's hope they don't bugger it up, eh?
