The first of the five factions to be revealed in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is the sophisticated and old fashioned Pioneers.
The Pioneers are true to their name; they were the first family of vampires to descend upon Seattle. Lou Grand is their prince, and their dedication to and valorisation of the old world has caused their grip on the city to wane. Though comprised of diverse vampires from different clans, the Pioneers have banded together to reclaim what they perceive as their stomping ground, using their wealth and influence to sway denizens to their cause.
One group they simply won’t associate with are the hot-headed Anarchs, and players will be able to choose which of the five factions they will ally with, compete and battle against, or set at odds in the new game. Their choice will affect the future of Seattle, and it won’t be easy as temptations abound and shady characters with ulterior motives lurk around every corner.
