Free to Play, the documentary film following three professional Dota 2 players, will be released worldwide on March 19, Valve has announced.
Produced by Valve, the film will premier a day earlier at a public screening and live Q&A sessions at the Castro Theater in San Francisco.
The documentary film looks into the lives of three professional gamers in Asia, North America and Europe, who share a passion for Dota 2.
In the film viewers will meet not only the three gamers, but also their families and loved ones as they prepare for the first $1 million prize in pro gaming.
Dota 2 has seven million active monthly players.
