In a shock announcement during the Sony E3 media briefing, Valve’s Gabe Newell took to the stage to announce that Portal 2, previously confirmed for PC, Mac and Xbox 360, will be coming to PS3.
Newell said that Portal 2 on PS3 will be “the best version on any console”, also confirming Steam support of some kind.
A world premiere of the Portal 2 trailer followed the announcement, confirming a 2011 release date.
