In an unexpected turn of events, Tencent Games has stopped the development of Valorant Mobile. Tencent is a huge player when it comes to the mobile gaming world, but it’s not all doom and gloom for players looking forward to the handheld version, as Riot LA has picked it up instead. This news was initially leaked via a tweet by @SargeOP_, who has a proven track record for leaking insider news in the gaming industry.

This decision to move Valorant Mobile development under Riot LA signifies their commitment and belief in the potential of Valorant as a game that is suitable for platforms other than PC.
There’s a lot of anticipation for the revamped Valorant Mobile, but we are unfortunately still waiting on the Valorant Mobile release date. Interestingly, Riot Games has also hinted at a possible console version of Valorant. Based in Los Angeles, Riot has been recruiting for a console playtest analyst role. We’re yet to learn which features will carry over to the mobile and console versions of the FPS game, but if you’re playing on PC, you’d do well to use the best Valorant crosshair codes. You should also read up on the Valorant Night Market schedule, so you can learn when it returns next.
