Square Enix today announced that Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of Plume will be released in Europe and PAL territories on April 3, 2009, exclusively on the Nintendo DS.
The latest instalment in the Valkyrie Profile series from RPG developer tri-Ace and the first on Nintendo DS, follows the story of the young soldier Wylfred, who seeks revenge against the valkyries since Lenneth took his father’s life. Now he waits for an opportunity to strike back just as the future of Midgard is about to be decided in battle once again.
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume promises to push the limits of the Nintendo DS in terms of production and gameplay whilst delivering an amazing strategic RPG gaming experience. The game will feature an innovative tactical battle system, multiple game chapters and game endings.
