US Gizmondo launch line-up

The Gizmondo will launch in North America on October 22nd complete with a line-up of fourteen games from some of the big names in the industry, including EA and SCI. The highest profile games available at launch are SSX 3, FIFA Soccer 2005 and Richard Burns Rally. The arcade puzzler Sticky Balls will also be out at launch.

The other titles making the launch line-up are Trailblazer, Classic Compendium 1 and 2, Toy Golf, Point of Destruction, Gizmondo Motocross 2005, Interstellar Flames 2, Pocket Ping Pong 2005, Hockey Rage 2005, and the Fathammer Classics pack (Super Drop Manic, Stunt Car Extreme, and Angel Fish.)

In the coming weeks both Conflict: Vietnam and Carmageddon, together with Chicane and Hit & Myth will also be released for the Gizmondo. Before Christmas Colors, the world’s first GPS enabled handheld game, will also be making its way to retail. Games will be priced between $19.99 and $39.99 and will be supplied on SD card format.

This line-up has something for everyone. The Gizmondo will retail for $229, with a software bundle retailing at $399.
