An imminent patch for No Man’s Sky is going to make PS4 and PC players “very happy,” Hello Games founder Sean Murray has revealed on Twitter.

Posting overnight, Murray wrote: “Awesome day at Hello Games, we’re going to make some people very happy with a PC and PS4 patch that’s in test right now :)”

Since the game launched on PS4 and PC last week the studio has been working around the clock to help users who ran into issues with the game, and issued an experimental build of the game via Steam which solved a number of problems.

We’d assume much of what’s included in the patch will already have been covered by the experimental patch notes, though Murray has previously teased much more interesting additions for the game.

Last week Murray said players can look forward to getting “the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters”. He also noted that “Temporal AA and my new cloud rendering tech should be coming soon too. It will really change the game again, and enhance it visually”.
