The creative director of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Shawn Escayg, has left developer Naughty Dog after seven years at the studio.
On New Year’s Day Escayg posted an image of The Avengers logo on Instagram, which has led people to believe he may now be working with Crystal Dynamics on The Avengers Project.
Almost 12 months ago, Square Enix and Marvel Entertainment struck a deal that would see the Japanese publisher release multiple games based on Marvel’s superheroes with The Avengers Project being the very first one.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided developer Eidos Montreal is also said to be working on the game, but little else is known at this point. However, we’re expecting to hear more concrete details on The Avengers game later this year.
