Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End sold through more than 2.7 million units worldwide during its first week of launch, Sony has announced. The figure makes the game the fastest-selling first-party PS4 game yet in both North America and Europe.
The figures include both physical and digital sales.
“A huge congratulations goes out to Naughty Dog for an incredible feat,” SCEA marketing manager Asad Qizilbash wrote on PlayStation Blog. “The success of the game is a testament to the calibre of the team at Naughty Dog and their unwavering commitment to their fans.”
Uncharted 4 launched on PS4 on Tuesday, May 10, and shot straight to the top of the UK charts. It remained there again this week, despite sales falling 78% week-on-week.
The game had initially been due to go on sale last autumn.
