Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s story will be expanded upon via a piece of single-player story DLC following its release early next year, Sony has revealed.

Access to the DLC will be included with the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition, along with two additional multiplayer packs that will “unlock new, rare and legendary multiplayer items”.

Details on how the content will tie in with the main game have yet to be announced, nor is it known exactly when it will release.

The DLC will also be available to purchase separately, meaning you don’t have to pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition to gain access. A standalone price has yet to be confirmed.

The add-on will be Naughty Dog’s second ever piece of story DLC and the first single-player expansion ever in the Uncharted series. Naughty Dog’s last single-player DLC, The Last of Us: Left Behind, put players in control of Ellie prior to the events of the main game.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches exclusively on PS4 on March 18, 2016.
