The debut trailer for Uncharted 3 aired during the Spike TV Video Game Awards over the weekend, giving fans a first tantalising glimpse of the third game in the action adventure series from Sony and Naughty Dog.
In addition to showing off some remarkable visuals, the US trailer (EU trailer is embedded above) confirmed a November 1, 2011 release date in North America. We’re told the game will hit Europe in the autumn – Friday, November 4 looks a good bet.
An early November launch is likely to see Uncharted 3 hitting stores around a week before Activision’s next title in the Call of Duty franchise.
Not only that, but November will also feature the next game in the hit Elder Scrolls series, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which boldly claimed the 11.11.11 launch date over the weekend. Then there’s the possibility of Epic’s Gears of War 3 and a new title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise also hitting during November. It could be a hugely expensive month for gamers.
