Capcom has announced Ultra Street Fighter 4, the latest update to Capcom’s top-rated fighter due to release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in early 2014.
The new title introduces five new characters and six new stages, rebalanced gameplay and new game modes.
Poison, Hugo, Elena, Rolento and a secret character join the game, bringing the current roster count to 44 characters, while the new environments include Pitstop 109, Cosmic Elevator, Half Pipe and three others.
In addition, fan feedback was gathered on all of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition’s 39 characters and core system mechanics in order to re-balance the action.
Details relating to new modes and gameplay features will be announced in the coming months.
By offering the updated game as a relatively cheap download for existing owners the new characters work out at £3 each, which is pretty good value when you consider the new environments and modes too.
