The gamer crowned the UK’s Ultimate Assassin will be immortalised in a future Hitman game and also presented with a Golden Joystick at the annual Golden Joystick Awards on October 26, 2012, Square Enix has announced.
Hitman: Sniper Challenge is a standalone experience offered as a reward to those who pre-order Hitman: Absolution.
Gamers are now competing for daily, weekly and monthly prizes. All Monthly winners will have the chance to battle it out in a Grand Final and be crowned the UK’s Ultimate Assassin.
“Hitman: Sniper Challenge has been an extremely successful pre-order incentive for us,” said Jon Brooke, brand director of the Hitman Franchise. “We’re really excited to be able to offer one fan a once in a lifetime prize and The Golden Joysticks is the perfect partner to showcase the Ultimate Assassin’s achievement.”
Hitman: Absolution will be released November 20 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
