FIFA 06 has pulled off a hat trick and is spending its third successive week at the top of the charts. FIFA was helped this week by the PSP release of the game which topped the PSP charts. FIFA 06 has also managed to top the PS2, Xbox and GameCube charts. Tiger Woods holds onto second place, while Spartan: Total Warrior climbs fives places to No.3 thanks to a 59% increase in sales.
This week’s highest new entry is Ultimate Spider-man from Activision, swinging into the No.4 position. Other new entries inside the top 20 are X-Men Legends II at No.11 and Wallace and Gromit at No.15. Failing to make the twenty are Serious Sam 2 (No.21), Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects (No.27) and Darkwatch which sneaks into the top 40 at No.39.
There are plenty of new releases this week with the most likely to make an impact on next week’s chart being Pro Evolution Soccer 5, The Warriors, SSX On Tour, LA Rush, Football Manager 2006, Quake IV, and F.E.A.R..
