Watch Dogs has held on to the No.1 spot in this week’s UK Video Games Chart to claim its fifth week at the top.

Despite game sales dropping by 10 per cent across the board, the lack of new releases means that FIFA 14 climbs a spot to No.2, with Call of Duty: Ghosts climbing three places to No.3. WolfenStein: The New Order holds at No.4.

Sniper Elite 3, meanwhile, the only game to knock Watch Dogs off its perch since its release in May, falls three places to No.5.

A 31 per cent boost in Mario Kart 8 sales, though, means that Nintendo’s racer zooms back into the top 10, while retailer promotions drive Pokemon Black & White back into the charts at No.21 and No.22.

GRID: Autosport continues to fall, however, slipping from No.20 to No.28, as does PS4 exclusive Infamous: Second Son, which clings on to the charts at No.40.
