505 Games’ Zumba Fitness is showing amazing legs, regaining the UK video games chart No.1 from Valve’s Portal 2.

Zumba recorded an impressive three per cent drop off week on week, which allowed the fitness title to jump ahead of Portal 2 which dropped a not unusual 43 per cent. Mortal Kombat is down 53 per cent to No.3, while Call of Duty: Black Ops fell only two per cent to climb one place to fourth. LucasArts’ LEGO Star Wars III is at No.5.

Codemasters’ Operation Flashpoint: Red River slips three places to No.7, Wii Fit Plus is at No.8, Pokemon Black is back inside the Top 10 at No.9 and Just Dance 2 closes out the Top 10.

The week’s only new release of note was City Interactive’s Sniper: Ghost Warrior. The game’s debut on PS3 helped the multi-format surprise to No.15 with a 457 per cent sales increase week on week.

Next week’s major releases include Bethesda’s Brink and Disney Interactive Entertainment’s LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean. We’re still unsure exactly how consumers will react to the multiplayer focussed Brink, but it’s certainly got something unique going for it.

The hype building for the new Pirates movie should, however, help LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean get off to a very strong start.
