Chart Track reports that Wii Fit has held on to the UK Video Game All Prices No.1 spot, thanks to a 32% increase on sales. The game/health tool which retails for £69.99 in the UK fought off strong competition from THQ’s Wall-E (up 12%) and Mario Kart Wii (up 23%).
Guitar Hero: On Tour is also a big climber on its second week of release – a sales increase of 46% ensuring a No.4 chart position for the DS exclusive. LEGO Indy falls from No.1 to No.5 and the Top 10 also sees the return of Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training at No.9.
The big release to look out for on Friday is Ubisoft/Namco Bandai’s SoulCalibur IV on Xbox 360 and PS3. It seems unlikely it’ll challenge for top honours but expect a strong Top 10 entry.
