CD Projekt RED’s cult-RPG The Witcher 2 has expelliarmus’d FIFA Street off the top spot to claim Number 1 position in the UK all-formats chart.

Hurrah for everyone! Everyone’s totally into The Witcher 2 right now, including VideoGamer.com – it’s so hot right now. “While not necessarily as big a name as the products of BioWare or Bethesda, The Witcher 2 is still one of the most interesting developments in RPGs within the last ten years, and with a combination of additional content and cutscenes its Enhanced Edition on Xbox 360 is one of the most lovingly crafted fan-services you’ll find,” said Emily in a 9/10 review – her last review for VideoGamer.com, by the way. Bye Emily!

FIFA Street had been number one for yonks, so lord knows how many copies it’s actually selling right now – still, it’s enough to stand tall over all the other games in the country. The rest of the Top 10 looked awfully familiar, with the usual suspects all making an appearance.

As for the licensed Battleship video game, believed to be so bad that I’m not even prepared to review it, well, that sunk without a trace.
