The LEGO Movie Videogame has held on to the No.1 spot in the UK Video Game Chart for a second week, with sales up seven per cent thanks to the half-term box office success of the movie.

FIFA 14 sales are also up 22 per cent after retailers cut the price of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, helping the game climb two places to No.2, followed by Call of Duty: Ghosts at No.3, Battlefield 4 at No.4 and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes at No.5.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is a new entry for Wii U at No.9, and the next-gen release of Rayman Legends sees the Ubisoft platformer soar 299 per cent to No.10.

Reef’s on-rails shooter Rambo: The Video Game is the only other new entry at No.21.

Elsewhere, LEGO video games surged back into the Top 40 with nine of the 40 being LEGO-based. These games combined have generated UK revenue of over £145m to date.
