The Last of Us: Remastered has proved its worth on PS4, entering the All Formats UK video game chart at No.1.
The PS4 remaster is the fifth biggest launch of 2014 and the fourth biggest PS4 launch ever, just behind Sony’s inFamous: Second Son.
Watch Dogs is pushed down to second place despite a 3 percent rise in sales, followed by FIFA 14 which itself saw a 12 percent increase. The LEGO Movie Videogame is the week’s biggest gainer, up 27 percent and one place to No.4.
Sacred 3 was the only other new release of note, but failed to attract much attention. The Deep Silver RPG charted at No.15 in the PS3 chart and No.16 in the Xbox 360 chart but missed the All Formats Top 40 altogether.

The Last of Us was always likely to perform well, but given its previous launch on PS3 it may suffer to maintain sales beyond its launch week.
With little to trouble the charts hitting stores this week – Ultra Street Fighter 4 is the only game of any note – expect the current chart contenders to duke it out for the top spot.
