Despite new releases in the shape of Just Cause, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 and LMA Manager 2007, Lego Star Wars II showed very little sign of giving up its place at No.1. Its strongest opposition came from Eidos’ Just Cause, which managed to top the Xbox and Xbox 360 chart and entered at a very respectable No.2 in the All Formats chart.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 enters at No.3 and has the release of the Xbox 360 version to look forward to in the coming weeks, and LMA Manager 2007 makes a solid start at No.4. Xbox 360 big boys, Dead Rising and Saints Row each slip five places, but Nintendo’s Brain Training continues to sell well, holding onto sixth position.

The Godfather jumps back into the top ten thanks the game’s release on Xbox 360 and PSP – the game entering at No.6 in the Xbox 360 chart and at No.5 in the PSP chart. Project Gotham Racing 3 also takes a leap up to No.26 thanks to the release of the new Xbox 360 bundle that comes packaged with the game.

Without question FIFA 07 will top the All Formats chart next week, but there are plenty of other new releases looking to bring up the rear. Kingdom Hearts II, GTR 2, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, Company of Heroes, B-Boy and 42 All-Time Classics should all do well.
