GTA 5 has taken back the UK Video Game chart No.1 spot, demoting FIFA 14 to second place.

Both GTA 5 and FIFA 14 have now enjoyed two weeks at No.1.

Nintendo’s Pokemon X and Pokemon Y make their debuts at No.3 and No.4, respectively, with the games more than doubling the week one total of last year’s Pokemon Black 2 and White 2.

PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls is also a new entry at No.5, but fails to match the No.1 chart debut of Heavy Rain back February 2010.

Elsewhere NIS America’s Dragon’s Crown is new at No19 and Mind Candy’s Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed begins its life at No28.

This week sees the launch of Skylanders: Swap Force, which given the huge popularity of the franchise is odds-on to claim the No.1 spot this time next week. The only thing going against Skylanders is the need for fans to pick up an all-new Starter Pack, which some parents may baulk at. Also look out for a Top 20 debut from SEGA’s Sonic: Lost World.
