GTA 5 has become the fastest-selling game of all time in the UK, unsurprisingly shooting to the top of the charts as the No.1 game of the week.

PES 2014 debuts at No.2, followed by The Last of Us, which is up 536 per cent to No.3 thanks to hardware bundling. Saints Row 4 drops to No.4 and Splinter Cell: Blacklist takes fifth.

Aliens: Colonial Marines benefits from GTA 5’s success, with its promotional pricing when bought with GTA 5 helping it back into the Top 10 – the game recorded a 913 per cent increase in sales week-on-week.

Harvest Moon 3D is the week’s only other new entry at No.20.

FIFA 14 hits stores on Friday, and whilst we expect GTA 5 to remain popular in its second week, EA’s heavy hitter should have enough to claim the No.1 spot.

With FIFA 14 coming to stores there’s also a big risk for Konami that PES 2014 will fall off in its second week.
