Ubisoft maintains its hold at the top of the UK video games chart with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – recording a respectable 35 per cent drop week on week.

Rockstar’s Max Payne 3 holds at No.2, whilst FIFA 12 jumps above Dragon’s Dogma to claim third place. DiRT Showdown slips to No.7.

The week’s highest new entry is Sony’s Resistance: Burning Skies on PS Vita at No.12 – the previous handheld Resistance game, Retribution, arrived on PSP back in 2009 and failed to make the Top 40.

With little hitting stores this week don’t expect a significant change at the top. A Game of Thrones has the best chance of making the Top 40, but we can’t see it placing any higher than in the 20s.
