Destiny has held on to the top spot in the UK Video Game Chart for a second week despite a 78 per cent drop in sales week-on-week, reports Chart Track.

72 per cent of PS4 hardware sales this week came from the Destiny bundle.

Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes is new at No.2, with first week sales up 32 per cent compared to the launch week of the first game. Also new is Wii U exclusive Hyrule Warriors at No.3.

The new entries see Watch Dogs slide to No.4 and The Sims 4 dropping three places to No.5.

The week’s only other new entry is Square Enix’s Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call for 3DS at No.17.

Destiny will have to settle with only the two weeks at the top because FIFA 15 launches on Friday and will definitely chart at No.1 this time next week. With no other new console game launching FIFA 15 will clean up, so expect Destiny and others to see more week-on-week declines.

3DS owners may be tempted by Fantasy Life and should make the Top 10.
