Deep Silver’s Dead Island has made it two weeks at the top of the All Formats All Prices UK Video game chart, selling more units than any other Deep Silver title has.

The continued success of Dead Island comes in the wake of widespread stock shortages and a price hike to £47.99 in GAME stores.

THQ’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine also holds firm at No.2, followed by Resistance 3, Driver: San Francisco and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The week’s only new entry is Sony’s God of War Collection Volume II at No.35.

Massive price reductions on Red Faction: Armageddon saw it secure a huge 246 per cent sales increase and jump back into the Top 40 at No.11, while SEGA’s Rise of Nightmares managed a 50 per cent sales increase to chart at No.18.
