Chart Track reports that the last No.1 of 2008 went to Activision Blizzard’s Call of Duty: World at War, having missed out to a surging FIFA 09 in the race for Christmas No.1.

FIFA 09 slips to No.2 and Need for Speed Undercover is at No.3. Nintendo claims fourth and fifth places with Mario Kart Wii and Wii Play respectively, while Tomb Raider: Underworld climbs three places to No.6 and Guitar Hero: World Tour jumps four places to No.7. Quantum of Solace is at No.8, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is at No.9 and Sonic Unleashed climbs ten places to No.10.
