Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is the UK’s All Formats All Prices Christmas No.1
video game for 2012, ChartTrack has announced.
Black Ops 2 becomes the first title of 2012 to hold the No.1 spot for six consecutive
weeks.
The outside bet for No.1 was Far Cry 3 after retailers began to heavily discount
Ubisoft’s open-world shooter midweek, but the resulting 86 per cent rise in sales
wasn’t good enough with the title having to settle for second place.
Square Enix’s Hitman: Absolution placed at No.3, followed by FIFA 13 at No.4 and Just
Dance 4 at No.5.
