2K’s BioShock Infinite has held on for a second week at No.1 in the Top 40 UK Video Game Charts, despite seeing a 75 per cent drop in sales week-on-week.
Tomb Raider also holds strong at No.2 in this week’s Top 40, recording only a 34 per cent decline in sales. The week’s major new entry is Trion Worlds’ multiplayer shooter Defiance at No.3, although it’s likely to have a fairly strong digital component to its overall sales figure.
EA’s FIFA 13 isn’t going anywhere and holds firm at No.4, followed by Luigi’s Mansion 2 at No.5, Gears of War: Judgment at No.6, Black Ops 2 at No.7 and Assassin’s Creed 3 at No.8.
Skylanders Giants jumps six places to No.9, whilst a seven place leap for NFS Most Wanted sees the racer climb back into the Top 10 for the first time since Week 9, 2013.

Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel makes its inevitable decline, dropping rapidly from No.6 to No.15. EA’s Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 also drops from No.8 to No.17, but with The Masters about to begin expect this to stick around for a little longer.
There’s nothing hitting stores this week to get excited about so expect BioShock Infinite to make it three weeks at the top.
