Last week a PS VR demo disc was announced to be included in the retail package, offering UK gamers eight games to sample with the new headset.

Great stuff, or so we believed until the content of the US demo disc was revealed. Over in the US and Canada there will be 18 experiences on the demo disc, including Resident Evil 7’s Kitchen teaser.

Here’s what the US and Canada get to play with:

  • Allumette (Penrose)
  • Battlezone (Rebellion)
  • DriveClub VR (SIE WWS)
  • Eve: Valkyrie (CCP Games)
  • Gnog (KO_OP)
  • Harmonix Music VR (Harmonix Music Systems)
  • Headmaster (Frame Interactive)
  • Here They Lie (SIE WWS)
  • Job Simulator (Owlchemy Labs)
  • PlayStation VR Worlds (SIE WWS)
  • Resident Evil 7 biohazard – Kitchen Teaser (Capcom CO., LTD.)
  • Rez Infinite (Enhance Games)
  • Rigs Mechanized Combat League (SIE WWS)
  • Thumper (Drool)
  • Tumble VR (SIE WWS)
  • Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (SIE WWS)
  • Wayward Sky (Uber Entertainment)
  • Within (Within)

The demo disc will also be available for download at PlayStation Store for free after PS VR launches.

Below is the line-up for the UK disc.

  • DRIVECLUB VR – Evolution Studios
  • PlayStation VR Worlds – LONDON STUDIO. In this demo you get to make a splash in the perilous waters of Ocean Descent, one of the five PS VR experiences available in the full game.
  • RIGS Mechanized Combat League – Guerrilla Games
  • Tumble VR – Supermassive Games
  • Battlezone – Rebellion
  • EVE: Valkyrie – CCP
  • Wayward Sky – Uber Entertainment
  • Headmaster – Frame Interactive

We’d hope the missing demos are made available for individual download via the PS Store, particularly the likes of Resident Evil 7, Until Dawn and Rez.
