EA Sports has revealed a new teaser trailer featuring the new logo for UFC 5. It’s been nearly three years since EA released the previous entry in the UFC series, and fans are ecstatic as EA notes they’ll be hosting a “full reveal” for UFC 5 in September 2023.
Taking to the EA SPORTS UFC Twitter, EA announced that UFC 5 would be “coming soon” with a full reveal scheduled for September 2023. Fans have been noting their excitement on social media following the announcement. Many have already begun mocking up possible covers for the next entry in the series with a lot of fans expecting Jon Jones to be this entires cover athlete.
Others have already started their wishlist for what they’d like to see in UFC 5 with one fan of the series saying, “Need the ability to FREELY change weight classes in career mode after you become or fail to become a 2 division champ. Hell, it’s a video game let us be 3 division champs. Need it more in-depth is all I’m saying.” Alongside this, another user on Twitter said, “I know this is naïve, but I am really hoping that they take full advantage of the narrative, the potential of making a mixed martial arts game. A comprehensive and entertaining MMA story mode similar to Fight Night Champion shouldn’t be impossible at this stage IMO.”
While there hasn’t been any official release date noted for UFC 5 just yet it’s probably fair to say the next entry in the UFC series will be on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. We’ll likely be hearing more news about the game in the coming weeks as we lead up to the full reveal in September.
